The commissioning process is rather easy.
Step 1 Please begin by filling out the commission form by choosing which options you prefer and providing the information requested.
Step 2 Once I have reviewed your order, I will then contact you and request you to send your reference photos via email. The more you send the better. Please view my Photography Tips page to help you attain the best reference photos. I will work with you closely on choosing the best reference photo for your portrait.
Step 3 Once chosen, I will request that you pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot on the client list. I will forward you a commission contract with estimated completion date and full details for bank transfer.
Generally, I operate on a first come first serve basis. If you need the portrait by a specific date, please indicate this when placing the order. If it is feasible, I am more than happy accommodate an earlier completion date.
Step 4 I will then create a digital mock-up of your portrait so you can see how the final art should be composed. At this point, you will have an opportunity to request changes if needed. Two revisions will be permitted with no additional cost.
Step 5 After I receive your approval of the digital mock-up, work may begin on your portrait. I will notify you when I begin and keep you updated as I progress.
Step 6 When I have completed your portrait, I will email you a photo of the portrait for your final approval.
Step 7 Once approval is received, please pay the remaining balance of payment and the cost of shipping.
Step 8 When confirmation of the payment is received, your portrait will be mailed to you.
